Dr. Randi McCabe is Chair of the Clinical Behavioural Sciences Programme and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. As a Clinical Psychologist at the ATRC, Dr. McCabe is involved in the assessment and treatment of individuals with anxiety disorders as well as the supervision and teaching of trainees at the centre (psychology graduate students, undergraduate students, and interns, psychiatry residents, and social work students).

Dr. McCabe’s research is focused in the area of anxiety and, in particular, factors related to comorbidity, health anxiety, and cognitive behavioural treatment of anxiety disorders. She has published over 20 articles and book chapters on the topics of anxiety disorders and eating disorders. Dr. McCabe is also involved in training other mental health professionals and has given numerous workshops on conducting cognitive behavioural therapy and the treatment of anxiety disorders and eating disorders.
